Jay Norman
Director ┃ Certifying Plumber and Gasfitter
Jay is the owner and director of Tapped Plumbing and Gas Ltd, starting the company in February 2024. He brings over 10 years of experience in the plumbing and gas industry. Jay is a Certifying Plumber and Gasfitter and his role goes well beyond the trade side of things. Jay runs the business, manages staff, talks to customers and makes the decisions that keep everything moving.
At home, Jay is a dad and a family man. That’s a big part of who he is and a lot of what drives him to keep building the business and doing better.
In the community, Jay is a volunteer firefighter, giving his time to the community and helping out where he can. Jay takes pride in being someone who gets stuck in and gets things sorted.
James Graham
Senior Plumber ┃Qualified Plumber
James joined Tapped in August 2025 and brings with him over 20 years of experience in the plumbing industry, having started his career in 2004.
Over the years, James has worked across residential and commercial plumbing, new housing, maintenance, and everything in between. At Tapped, you’ll find him working on our residential, maintenance, and hot water cylinder jobs.
James enjoys working at Tapped because the team is made up of a solid group of people, with can-do attitudes and, of course their good sense of humour.
Outside of work, James enjoys getting outdoors and spending time with his partner, her grandson, and his dogs.
Connor Little
Qualified Plumber┃Qualified Gasfitter
Connor joined Tapped in December 2025. He has been working in the plumbing and gas industry since 2020, specialising in gas fitting and roofing.
Connors favourite part of the trade is problem solving. He enjoys the jobs where the solution isn’t immediately obvious and you have to work through the problem, think outside the box and come up with the right fix.
Connor enjoys working at Tapped because of the work environment. It’s a real team of solid, supportive people who back each other up and always show up with a smile. It makes coming to work a lot easier when you know you’re surrounded by people who have your back.
Connor is equal parts indoorsy and outdoorsy. Outside of work, he enjoys sports shooting, mountain biking, and a bit of squash and PlayStation.
Emily Ormiston
Office Manager
Emily started at Tapped Plumbing and Gas in August 2026. Emily brings with her over 10 years of experience in retail management, administration, HR and health and safety.
You’ll often find Emily in our showroom, where she will be the friendly face greeting customers, helping with enquiries, bookings and everything happening behind the scenes. When you contact tapped, Emily will often be the first point of contact when you call or send through an enquiry, so she’s here to make the process as easy as possible for customers.
Emily enjoys working at Tapped because of the great team, with plenty of banter and laughs throughout the day. She enjoys the problem solving side of her role, as well as keeping things organised and making sure tasks are on track.
Outside of work, Emily is a mum to a full of beans toddler who keeps her very busy on her days off. She loves making the most of family time and embracing the chaos that comes with toddler life.
